How it all started

It all began in February 2004 when Nick and I met. We dated for a year before deciding to move in together. I found a job out where he lived and moved into an apartment with him in early 2005. In March 2006 we took a family vacation with Nick's dad (Bruce) to Morocco, what an experience. On the way home we had an over night stay in Paris, France, where we took a quick trip to the Eiffel Tower. While walking under the Tower, Nick got down on one knee and proposed to me! On September 15, 2007 we had a wonderful wedding with all of our friends and family present. We decided to wait until after our honeymoon in Spain (April 2008) to try and have a child. After much waiting and testing we found out that we would be unable to have a biological child. We discussed adoption with our family and decided that it was the best choice for us.

On September 11th, 2009 we applied to Saint Mary International Adoption Agency out of North Carolina to adopt from Poland. On September 21st we received our acceptance letter and so our journey begins. . . . . . . . . .
